79th Steet Boat Basin

We sail from the 79th Street Boat Basin in Riverside Park on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. The 79th Street Boat Basin, dubbed the "Recreational Boating Gateway of New York City", is the ideal location to experience New York City by water. Just south down the Hudson River we are sailing in the shadows of the Statue of Liberty; a short distance upriver the scenery drastically transforms and you feel as though you have left the city for an idyllic weekend in the country as you glide through the Palisades.

The 79th Street Boat Basin is easily reached by all public and private transportation. We gather on the NW corner of West 79th Street and Riverside Drive each morning at 9am and walk through Riverside Park down to the docks of the Boat Basin as a group. If an earlier drop off is needed this can be arranged in advance.
