Where do we go?

Meet your captain at the main gate to the marina just beneath the American flag. Directions and a map can be found on our contact page

When should we arrive?

Arrive at the main gate to the marina about five minutes before your sail. It only takes a minute or two to get you boarded and out sailing.

What to bring?

Bring some sunscreen, sunglasses, maybe a hat, and a good attitude. You are going on a mini vacation, come prepared to unwind and relax. Bring an ipod or cd's if you want some music on your sail. Bring some snack and drinks if you think you may get hungry or thirsty.

What to wear?

Dress comfortably for the weather. It is usually a few degrees cooler out on the water, especially at night so bring a light jacket or cover-up if you will be out on a night sail.

What shoes do I need?

We recommend sailing barefoot allowing you to feel the ship beneath your feet. If you prefer shoes try to go for flip flops, sandals, or light colored soft soles. Hard soles, heels, and dark rubber soles are not permitted.

Food / Drink?

You are welcome to bring and food or drink out with you. Alcohol is allowed as well. Just let us know if you will need any ice or refrigeration so we can be sure to have it aboard. You should also bring any utensils or plates / cups you may need.

Weather?

What if it rains? We want you to enjoy you sail and because of this we only sail in pleasant / safe conditions. We do not sail in rain, lighting, high winds, or confused seas. These conditions are very rare in our sailing area but please do understand that they are out of our control and we do not go out into them for your comfort and safety. If your sail is canceled due to rain or unsafe conditions simply give us a call and we will reschedule the sail completely free of cost. The captain of your vessel has final say in what deems unsafe conditions.

Gratuity?

It is standard procedure to tip your captain / crew at the end of a great voyage. If you enjoyed your sail, let them know. 15 -20% is standard.
