Our Staff

Our team of professional Captains, sailing instructors and crew are our greatest asset. Our staff is certified by the American Sailing Association the US Sailing Association and licensed by the United States Coast Guard. A sailing school is only as good as its instructors, and you'll find our staff among the best in the industry. Our instructors have worked with sailing schools across the nation and the Caribbean developing their skills and combine them here to give you the best sailing experience imaginable. Most instructors have substantial offshore sailing passages under their belt and can take you all the way through your sailing education from novice to advanced. Not only are our instructors great sailors, but they are also great educators - many spend their time off the water as professors, academics and teachers. Our team's commitment and dedication to teaching is based on a love of sailing and desire to share it with others.

Our Location

We sail from the conveniently located 79th Street Boat Basin in Riverside Park on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. The 79th Street Boat Basin, dubbed the "Recreational Boating Gateway of New York City", is the ideal location to experience New York City by water. Just south down the Hudson River we are sailing in the shadows of the Statue of Liberty; a short distance upriver the scenery drastically transforms and you feel as though you have left the city for an idyllic weekend in the country as you glide through the Palisades.
