Courses for Experienced Sailors

Our "Experienced Sailors" area provides people with several ways to enter our program without necessarily starting at the beginning. While sometimes even experienced sailors opt to start at square one, we want to make sure that you stay pleasantly challenged and that you avoid classes you don't need.

Coastal Cruising "Learn to Skipper"

Coastal Cruising is an intermediate sailing course designed for those completing Basic Keelboat, or those with equivalent experience.  In this course you will learn the skills necessary for offshore sailing, navigation, docking, and watch standing. Bareboat Cruising "Learn to Bareboat"

"Bareboat" simply means renting a boat without a hired skipper. In this course, you'll learn how to apply your skills as a skipper on boats up to 45-feet long.  Once you're certified in Bareboat Cruising, a Caribbean vacation, or one anywhere in the world can become a reality.
